The question I ask a lot is “are you turning?”. Turning from what, turning from where? Many times we get off the path we meant to be headed down. All of us need to make “course corrections” in our lives. Uturn is a ministry designed to help teenagers make the turn and get headed in the right direction. We truly believe that God has a plan and purpose for everyone and it is our goal to help young people discover what that is. Our ministry is all about using food, fun, friends and truth to discover God’s plan, purpose, love and direction for their lives. Are you ready to MAKE THE TURN?

I was just notified about a local family from another church here in Bakersfield who lost their home to fire. They lost most of their possessions and are in need. Here is a list of what they need immediate help … They attend Believers In Jesus.
36 pants L to XL shirt For the father
They said the mother is ok.
34 W. 32 L. And Large Shirt, 16 year old boy
32 W. 30 L. Large shirt, 15 year old boy
Size 7 and 8, 2 boys ages 8 and 9
Size 0 in pants M shirt, Girl 12 years old
House hold items, such as kitchen and any linins (towels, blankets etc) at least 1 twin bed is needed still

Uturn is having a party Wednesday September 8th,and you are invited. All 7-12th grade students join us for our annual Back to School Celebration. There will be free food, tons of games and prizes and we will be kicking off our new series called “STAND OUT”. Doors open at 6:30pm and close at 8:30pm. Bring you and a friend for fun, food friends and truth!
